THRIVE!

Self-Care for Caregivers

An interactive multimedia web based training program for caregivers to help reduce their stress and better cope with taking care of their loved one. For this project Redmon custom designed and developed the entire program, including interactives, videos and audio recordings. For the administrator we developed a survey with a control panel for the admin to assess login credentials for each user. Upon completion of the program, the administrator can access all reports.

NYC Ferry Digital Signage

Hornblower

Hornblower Cruises operates the NYC Ferry public network of ferry routes for New York City. The network has multiple routes with 24 piers between the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. Originally expected to transport 4.5 to 4.6 million passengers annually, ridership estimates were revised in early 2018 to 9 million.

Redmon provides their TransitDisplay digital signage solution for all stops in the NYC Ferry network. Redmon displays for NYC Ferry not only incorporate real-time arrivals/departure information for the ferry network. But also facilitate transit by providing local bus and Citibike information.

Iowa DNR – Department of Natural Resources

Interactive Education, Anywhere

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) sought to renovate the A/V portion of their mobile education exhibit. They use a mobile trailer to travel to schools and fairgrounds in Iowa to help promote natural resource stewardship, conservation, and to promote the benefits of reducing reliance on landfills. AV elements include a game show quiz, a drag-and-drop recycle sorting challenge, and a riddle-based matching game, all targeted for a fourth-grade audience. Redmon also produced a looping video segment (using content provided by Iowa DNR) promoting DNR community efforts. Finally, Redmon staff recommended and configured new electronics and computers to support the exhibit.
