Project: U.S. Senate Chamber Desks

The office of the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms (the chief law enforcement officer of the Senate and person responsible for all Senate technology, print, recording and telecommunications services) maintains a collection of interactive exhibits on the history of the senate on the Senate website.

Redmon was contracted to produce the exhibit, Senate Chamber Desks, which focuses on the design, history, and evolving traditions of the desks, including design of the desks and the tradition of Senators to write their names inside the desk drawers. This exhibit is supported by extensive administrative features to facilitate maintenance and updates with new and changing materials.
