Client: U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

Project: Target America: Opening Eyes to the Damage Drugs Cause – Traveling Exhibit

Redmon designed and built interactive components for the DEA Museum’s traveling exhibit, Target America: Opening Eyes to the Damage Drugs Cause, which demonstrates the historic and contemporary connections between global drug trafficking and terrorism, and explains some of the underlying causes of the September 11 terrorist attacks. In addition to overall audio/visual design and development and venue-specific updates, Redmon produced the core interactive components including: “Tracking Global Narco-Terrorism,” an animated map-based exploration of drug production, trafficking, and money laundering; “You're In Charge,” a PC-based strategy/role-playing game where visitors allocate the DEA's limited resources to combat drugs and terrorism; and an online guestbook, which invites visitors to share their thoughts and feelings related to the exhibit, which museum staff can then incorporate into the exhibit’s presentation and website.
