As mobile phone, PocketPC and PDA technologies converge into more powerful tools, Redmon is utilizing them in numerous ways for business applications, museums, and e-learning:
- A suite of alerting applications that “push” emergency information and scheduling changes to mobile phones and PocketPCs via SMS and email;
- PocketPC-based automated tour system for the ATF National Laboratory; and
- Programs that provide dynamic access to live data via SmartPhones or wireless handheld devices. These applications have been developed for: Arlington County, Washingtom Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro), Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC), and Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC).
