For this project, Redmon designed and developed two Web-based e-learning modules for teaching what it means to work with respect and what constitutes inappropriate behavior at the World Bank Group. Both of these modules are delivered within the World Bank Groups learning management system. They are intended for use as prerequisites and supplements to existing World Bank workshops.
The audience for this project cuts across the entire spectrum of World Bank employees. Thus on many levelsinstructional, graphical, technicalthe approach taken was based on being flexible and useable within a wide range of factors, including but not limited to facility with English, cultural background, technical skills, and technical infrastructure. The instruction follows a four-phase experiential learning model that starts users off with an experience from which they are given a chance to reflect, generalize, and finally, apply what they have learned. Technically, this project was built using a Macromedia Flash-based strategy that allows small learning objects to be separately loaded into a common interface.
