Client: Architect of the Capitol

Project: U.S. Capitol Visitor Center Website

At nearly 580,000 square feet, the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center is the largest project in the Capitol's more than 200-year history, encompassing a space approximately three quarters the size of the Capitol itself. To accompany the opening of this new facility, the Architect of the Capitol directed a website be created – the first for the U.S. Capitol – to give visitors news and information in preparation for their visit and to act as an overall source of information on the Capitol itself. Redmon worked extensively with the Architect of the Capitol, the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and our partners at Belmont, Inc. in designing, and implementing an effective, attractive, informative, and easily maintained website.
