Project: U.S. Army Heritage & Education Center

The U.S. Army Heritage & Education Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania is the United States Army's preeminent museum and research complex. Redmon created the World War II Parachute Jump experience for the museum’s Soldier Experience Gallery. This immersive interactive simulates a nighttime parachute jump into battle from an altitude of 700 feet. Ground fire, explosions, and anti-aircraft missiles sound off during a quick descent through the clouds as jumpers maneuver the parachute to land safely in the drop zone. To achieve their objective, they must also steer clear of forest, minefield, and water hazards.
