The Dinosaur Hunter CD-ROM is part of "The Dinosaur Hunter's Kit," an interactive, educational kit designed to teach and entertain children. The kit includes a replica fossil, a hunter's handbook, as well as the CD-ROM.
Through a series of menus, children can visit famous digs, explore their own dig site, investigate theories of what dinosaurs looked like and how they sounded, and learn about their environment and habitat. As the program is launched, children can hear the sounds of the dinosaur's world--the chattering and screeching of prehistoric creatures. The program is easy to navigate, and children can find out about famous digs and learn about the artifacts that were uncovered.
