Associate Multimedia Developer
As an Associate Multimedia Developer at Redmon Group you can expect to find yourself working simultaneously for multiple project managers on a variety of projects. Your specific tasks will depend both on your skill set and the needs of the projects but will include creating animations and/or e-Learning pages in Flash, building Web pages, recording and editing video and/or audio, finding and/or creating photos, graphics, and illustrations, testing, and more. You will follow content and design specifications laid out in design documents, scripts, storyboards, and/or graphic treatments and will work closely with others including Project Managers, Instructional Designers, Programmers, and other Multimedia Developers.
In this position, it is expected that you will carry out project and company duties as assigned by the Project Management team and designated Senior Multimedia Developers; follow timelines and schedules; perform work within defined scopes and allocated hours; learn new applications or software as needed; and be an active and productive team member who helps maintain a focus on innovation, quality, and delivering client solutions that work.
Types of projects could include: e-learning, Web sites, digital signage, interactive museum exhibits, kiosks, DVDs, and handheld applications.

Job Requirements:

An Associate Multimedia Developer must be competent (able to independently employ the principal features of applications or skills to produce a professional-level output) in the following areas:
- HTML
- Flash Development
- Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
- At minimum of 2 years practical experience in interactive multimedia development (a 4-year degree is considered equivalent to 2 years of experience)
A Multimedia Developer must also have a basic understanding of the following topics and/or applications:
- Graphic Design
- PhotoShop, FireWorks
- XML Creation and Parsing
- ActionScript 2 & 3 Coding
- Task Estimation
- Team Building
Skills considered a "plus" include:
- Articulate Rapid eLearning
- Adobe AIR and/or Flex
- JavaScript
- Audio, Video and/or 3D Production Experience
